Cousins, fair, and dancing

In early October, Travis's mom, Di, or "G's" came down from VA to visit us with her sister, "Crazy" Aunt Barb and our niece, Kayleigh, who is Sydney's age. We had a great time. We went to a little fair like thing at a shopping center near our house, then the next day Addyson's dance class performed at our county fair, so we went to see her dance, then spent the day at the fair. It was so fun. After Di, Barb and Kayleigh went back home, we had another chance to go to the fair in the evening. It was a great start to October!

Addyson is 3!!!! Can it really be??!!

My little baby girl is 3!! I can't believe it. Where has the time gone? We love you so much Addyson. You keep me on my toes, as I can never let you out of my sight or trouble will be brewin', and you keep us laughing hysterically! You are definitely one of a kind and we are so blessed you are ours.

So, Addyson wanted a princess party, so I decided to go all out with the cake this year. My talented friend, Lisa C., showed me how to make fondant and showed me how to decorate a cake with it. She rocks!!!! Addyson loved her cake and didn't mind that the towers looked like they were falling down! :)

We got to do some of her favorite things...dress up like princesses, paint nails, put on makeup, spray glitter in her hair, eat cake and open presents. Cinderella even came by to put their makeup on. They were just so excited that she came all the way from "Far Far Away" to see them. Her best little girl friends were there, which made it just perfect for her.

Sydney was such the big helper with the little girls. She took it upon herself to help them with the games and get them their refreshments and make sure that they all felt included. I see a great future babysitter!
